Centripetal thrust ball bearing

The centripetal thrust ball bearing is a non separable type of bearing, and the straight line connecting the steel ball to the contact point of the inner and outer rings forms a radial contact angle with the radial direction (as shown in Figure 1). The contact angle numbers and angles of the bearings are shown in Table 1.
In addition to radial loads, radial thrust ball bearings can also withstand large unidirectional axial loads. The larger the contact angle, the greater the ability to withstand axial loads. Due to the axial force generated by radial load, radial thrust ball bearings are generally used in pairs. NTN also offers high-speed centripetal thrust ball bearings and ultra high-speed centripetal thrust ball bearings, which also have different dual configurations. Most dual configuration radial thrust ball bearings with accuracy level 5 or above are equipped with preloading. Table 2 lists some information on radial thrust ball bearings, while Table 3 lists information on dual configuration radial thrust ball bearings.
